This patented valve that is guaranteed to cut off water at the source if a flexible hose bursts in your home.
It detects an increase in water flow caused by the failure of an old or faulty hose. Water flow is cut right away, preventing damage to the home or unit. This valve only cuts the water to the affected hose that has burst leaving the dwellings water supply totally intact.
If the system is activated, to reset, you simply take the burst proof valve off the tap and it will rest automatically. Reinstall onto tap and reconnect the hose. It does not get any easier.
The system can be installed in new builds or easily retro fitted to existing plumbing.

Important changes to the Queensland Development Code for Flood Stop Safety Valves
Section A5(2)(e) (iii)
Where a floor waste is installed –
flexible hose assemblies used for the connection of fixtures contained in the wet area must be fitted with flood stop safety valves approved under WMTS-479.
BurstProof is made to WMTS-479. This is an easy and very adaptable solution that will comply with this new law.
